September's committee meeting covered governance and data protection through to membership, finance, coaching, premises and plans for the 90th anniversary. A member, Mohi Nawaz, a former Enfield Council Data Protection Officer, has kindly agreed to act as the club's Data Protection Officer and has reviewed how our systems handle members' data. The committee has agreed to adopt ClubRight as the club's membership and door-access app, while keeping the existing table booking system. League fixtures are coming together, with an increased team count overall, a full junior team in the North Middlesex League and a second team in the Hertford League. On finance, all club payments require two authorised signatures, and members will receive clearer, more regular reporting going forward. Premises work continues, including completed decorating, new CCTV cameras and replacement signage — humidity and flooring are the next priorities. Planning is underway for the club's 90th anniversary celebrations and a Mayoral visit in October and November.
